Lang Leven het Erfgoed

With the Long Live Heritage project, we honor the preservation of our cultural treasures for future generations. Together with our passionate volunteers, we host monthly events where participants unleash their creativity through photography competitions, using cameras and smartphones to capture the beauty of our heritage.

These gatherings offer an exciting opportunity to explore and connect with our heritage, fostering deeper appreciation and understanding. The stunning photos taken by participants are shared on Instagram, reaching a wider audience and ensuring our heritage remains in the spotlight. With over 2,000 incredible images, we’re collectively contributing to its preservation.

This inspiring initiative is made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, support from Fonds Cultuurparticipatie, and the creative guidance of Dutch photographer Monique Anrochte.

To further celebrate Aruba’s rich tangible and intangible heritage, we’ve also created a digital magazine. Through its pages, readers can dive into the island’s cultural history, discover monuments and historical sites, and take part in engaging challenges. It’s an invitation to explore, connect, and play an active role in preserving our heritage.

Join us in celebrating and preserving our shared legacy—together, we make heritage last!
